igstoryviewer.io is an independent browser tool for viewing current public Instagram Stories and downloading individual photos or videos. It is free to use without an Instagram login, registration or an installed app.

Where do the results come from?
The server uses ProfileQuery to check profile privacy and retrieve current public Stories. It refuses private profiles. The provider receives the searched username; visitors do not supply their Instagram password or session.
Cloudflare hosts the service. Metadata is cached for 10 minutes, and clearly labelled fallback results may be less than 1 hour old during a source error. Expired Stories are filtered out. Media is streamed, not retained as a permanent archive.
What has been verified?
On October 5, 2026, live checks confirmed public photo and video Stories, separate private/account-not-found/no-current-Stories responses, individual downloads matching the upstream bytes, and use at a 375-pixel mobile width. This records a dated validation, not a guarantee of current source availability.

What does anonymous viewing mean?
Your Instagram account is not connected to a lookup. This does not mean no data is processed: hosting infrastructure processes connection information, and the content provider receives the requested username. Read the anonymous viewer explanation and Privacy policy.

The 5 most recent searches stay in this browser and can be cleared. Optional analytics loads only after consent and excludes searched usernames and media links. A download does not grant permission to republish someone else’s work.
